What the grades mean

Pristine

Barely touched. No scuffs, no fading, print still sharp. A corporate logo or a pen dot can turn up, but the cover looks new.

Mint 5A

Lost early. A few holes of play before it went in the pond or the trees, and not long in there. Logos, course stamps and the odd pen mark are normal. Wear is not.

Near mint 4A

Good 3A

All play, no looks. Scuffs, faded or yellowed patches, logos and pen marks. Flies and rolls like it should; it just will not win any beauty contests.
